HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
I do not have a limit on the number! I will always choose quality over quantity, and will select the most memorable photos we capture during your session, which is almost always 40+ photos!
Weddings are the exception clearly, and will have a much greater number of photos delivered!

HOW SHOULD WE DRESS FOR OUR SESSION?
The goal is not to hide your personality so wear what makes you feel best! As we determine location, I'm more than happy to help organize outfits and send guides! A general rule is that any “natural", earthy color is a safe bet! Warm colors are great options, and greens, browns, even muted color shades such as yellow and oranges are all earthy tones that photograph well. And yes, gentlemen, jeans are fine!

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE A SESSION?
I'm passionate about natural-light, so I always will suggest golden hour and sunset! Dependent on the season, this ranges between 3:00P and 6:30P for start time. If you need specific times, I am more than willing to work your scheduling and still ensure you get the beautiful photos you deserve!

what is the best location?
This is totally dependent on what you and your personality! One of the first things we will discuss is location. Some people desire a more 'urban vibe' and others want a scenic prairie - I'm more than happy to discuss a variety of locations to find what will fit you best!

How do we receive our gallery?
Once you have had a session with me, I will provide you a direct link to your online gallery. This will be provided most often via email, unless we decide something else works better for you.

what if the weather isn't cooperating?
If we have an outdoor session scheduled and weather is not favorable, we can discuss either rescheduling or finding an indoor location. Life happens, and so does weather, flexibility is key and we'll ensure you get the best outcome possible for your photos!

do we get to see any photos before our final gallery?
Yes! I send you a sneak peek with 24-72 hours of your session; it acts as a preview! This is a small, curated set of a few favorite moments from your session so far! As the remainder of your photos are being edited, this helps the time go faster, and give you an idea of the outcome of your session!

is the deposit non-refundable? When is final payment due?
A deposit is taken at the time of booking to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.
To secure your booking a deposit is taken. All deposits are non-refundable should you cancel, because a cancellation creates a missed opportunity with other clients.
If we need to reschedule the deposit is applied toward the rescheduled/new session.
